On its tenth time lucky, Elon Musk’s SpaceX’s Starship launched soaring to a new milestone. On Tuesday night the 123 meter rocket successfully deployed a batch of mock satellites and the heat shield was tested on its plunge back to earth. The Starship lifted off from Texas and launched into space on a trajectory bound for the Indian ocean where it later splashed down, and exploded into a fireball, an expected event. The test flight showed progress in SpaceX's test-to-failure development campaign
