Pubity on Instagram: "😭 The biggest spider ever recorded is the Goliath birdeater, a massive tarantula native to the rainforests of northern South America. It holds the record for largest spider by mass and body size, with adults weighing over 6 ounces and reaching a leg span of up to 12 inches, roughly the size of a dinner plate. Despite its intimidating name, it rarely eats birds and mainly hunts insects, small mammals, and amphibians. (Homem aranha via ViralHog) #surprise"
