The Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) has announced sweeping changes to their charts, in an effort to promote new artists and the local music industry. From 5 September, the ARIA Top 50 Singles and Albums charts, along with the Top 20 Australian Artist Singles and Albums charts, will only count songs released within the past two years.
