We get a lot of questions about how the Auto Tool Changer works, and it works by knowing the difference in height between each bit. I installed all bits into the tool holders and measured the offset, or difference in height, between all 5 bits. The machine now knows the difference and when I set my z zero position to the material it can now adjust when it swaps out for the bits.
