An official inspection of the ongoing dredging works at the Port of Tema has been conducted by the Director of Port, Tema, Tebon Zumah Esq. The project, which began in September 2025, is about 50 percent complete and is scheduled for completion by May this year. The works aim to deepen the port’s berthing areas from 11 metres to 14 metres below sea level, thereby enhancing the port’s capacity to accommodate larger vessels, particularly bulk carriers transporting cement manufacturing materials. #
