Omaha is the third American Triple Crown winner, having won the races in 1935. He is also known for being the only son of another triple crown winner, Gallant Fox. In a racing career which lasted from 1934 to 1936, Omaha won 9 of his 22 races. He had his greatest success as a three-year-old in 1935 when he swept the Triple Crown.
