Yukon Quest Alaska launched mushers and sled dog teams onto the Chena River from the Morris Thompson Cultural & Visitors Center in Downtown Fairbanks beginning at 11 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 4, 2023 for the 550 and 300 mile races. There were 9 mushers in each of those races.
