The African wild dog, one of the world’s most endangered mammals. As of now, there are only about 6,600 left in the wild. Botswana’s northern region, in particular the Okavango Delta, is probably the best area in the world to see them; however, they are so elusive and nomadic that the chances of observing these amazing dogs, even in Botswana, are only around one in 10.
