To properly use chopsticks, start by placing one chopstick in the crook of your thumb and resting it against the side of your ring finger—this bottom chopstick remains stationary. Then, hold the second chopstick like a pencil, using your thumb, index, and middle fingers to grip it. This top chopstick is the one that moves. To pick up food, keep the tips of the chopsticks aligned and use your index and middle fingers to move the top chopstick up and down, opening and closing it against the statio
