Nov 29, 2023 · Brand new Surface Pro 9, no 3rd party apps installed yet. The taskbar is correctly configured to display badges, and they work fine on other apps. The new Outlook for Windows icon that is pinned to the taskbar does not display a badge when new emails arrive. Any suggestions? Thanks!

To do so: Open Outlook -> select file tab -> options -> mail -> go to message arrival and re-enable the option show an envelope icon in taskbar.
