Jul 24, 2018 · The Honda is the epitome of a cheap tuner car. But older model Ford Focus and Chevy cobalts are a good alternative. They are cheap to purchase and they are cheap to repair and mod. Domestic tuners are super slept on. If you are willing to pay a little bit the cobalt SS is a viable contender, I’m looking to get one here soon.

Slant-nose 911s weren't exactly tap-water common, but you'd see them more often; still, that was a third-party development. I will say though, the '80s tuner era turned out some bonkers rides.
