Midnighter and Apollo find a rampaging man, with abilities similar to the Green Lantern (just redder), and take him home. Well, it was Apollo's idea - Midnighter was taking no responsibility for the events that transpired next.

Midnighter and Apollo occurs after the previous Midnighter solo series. The story begins with the two men stopping a train that has children on board that have been abducted by a man named Captain Half-Beard and his crew.
