A variety of Metra content is being produced for N3V Games Trainz Simulator. The content will work in Trainz 2019 and Trainz 2022, taking advantage of the new material properties to give the trains a realistic look. The initial release will include the F40PHM-2, F40PHM-3 engines as well as the 6000 Series Coaches and 8500 Series Control Cars.

So I decided to learn blender and make them myself (although I do CAD for a living so there is some skill transfer). Currently I'm modeling the F40PHM-2 and the 6000/8500 series bilevels.
