After a week in the transfer portal, Notre Dame wide receiver Deion Colzie has found a new home in the Mid-American Conference, reportedly signing with the Miam

Deion Colzie will continue his college football career in Oxford, Ohio. On Wednesday, On3 college sports business and transfer portal reporter Pete Nakos reported the former Notre Dame wide receiver has signed with Miami (Ohio).

On Wednesday, the Irish saw three players enter the portal, offensive lineman Sam Pendleton, and a pair of wide receivers in Deion Colzie and Jayden Thomas. On Thursday, the exodus continued, as offensive lineman Rocco Spindler and Pat Coogan have now entered the portal and will play their final season somewhere other than South Bend.

Such is the way of the transfer portal. Michigan football longed to lure former Clarkston (Mich.) offensive guard Rocco Spindler to Ann Arbor, however, Spindler honored his departed grandfather’s wishes and ended up suiting up for Notre Dame instead.
