Deputies were responding to a report of a man with a gun who had entered a liquor store when a vegetation fire ignited behind the business, officials said.

A man is accused of attacking two other men with a metal pole and stealing one of their vehicles amid a dispute over automotive repairs.

The fatal crash took place about 6:50 p.m. Saturday on National Trails Highway, near Sharon Road, according to the CHP.
