BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Mike Woodson spent a lot more of his basketball life in the professional ranks than he did in the college game. For his next coaching opportunity, Woodson will be headed back to the NBA. It has been reported by multiple sources that Woodson will join Doug Christie’s Sacramento Kings coaching staff.

Doug Christie was named interim coach of the Kings in late December. The Sacramento Kings are keeping interim coach Doug Christie around for the long haul. The team announced Thursday it has agreed to a contract with Christie, who took over as the team’s interim coach in late December after then-coach Mike Brown was fired.
