WASHINGTON — While no one won the $531 million Powerball jackpot in the latest drawing on Wednesday, Aug. 13, three people woke up as millionaires Thursday. One ticket each from New Hampshire, Oregon and Texas each won the $1 million prize for matching all five regular numbers.
The current jackpot is estimated to be worth $526 million, with a cash value of $241 million, according to Powerball.com. The next drawing is on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

More than 780,000 Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said.
A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold in New Jersey for Monday’s lottery drawing, along with another ticket worth $50,000. The lucky Powerball ticket was purchased at Minit Mart on the 300 block of Boulevard in Hasbrouck Heights, Bergen County, lottery officials said. It matched five numbers but not the Powerball.
