Many cities and towns will celebrate Independence Day with festivals, live music and more before they light up the night sky with dazzling fireworks displays.

Metro Denver should see typical conditions for early July with temperatures in the low to mid-90s throughout the weekend, a slight breeze and a small chance of afternoon showers.

It will be warm and a little stormy this holiday weekend. We'll see highs in the upper 80s for the Fourth of July across the Denver metro area, with a few storms popping up by early afternoon.
