Memphis Grizzlies All-Star big man Jaren Jackson Jr. is recovering from surgery for a turf toe injury and will be re-evaluated in about 12 weeks.

Just two days after agreeing to a five-year, $240 million extension with Jaren Jackson Jr., the Memphis Grizzlies announced that their star big man underwent surgery to repair a turf toe injury in his right foot.

The Memphis Grizzlies announced Wednesday that forward/center Jaren Jackson Jr. will be re-evaluated in 12 weeks after undergoing surgery for a turf toe injury suffered while playing in a basketball run offsite.
