San Diego Wave FC granted Jaedyn Shaw's wish, sending the midfielder, part of the U.S. national team, to the North Carolina Courage.

U.S. national team midfielder Jaedyn Shaw has been acquired by the North Carolina Courage in a trade with the San Diego Wave.

The price for Jaedyn Shaw is nearly identical to what the Wave paid in April to land striker María Sánchez from the Houston Dash
