Google TV Streamer's first update lets you choose audio output types
The Google TV streamer just got its first update since it launched on August 6, 2024. This is not a big update. In fact, it is more of a minor tweak to the device, but it brings with it a much-requested change: the ability to manually control audio output type.
First Google TV Streamer update is now available
Out of the box the Google TV Streamer set-top box is running Android TV OS 14, the first device to do so, and ships with the August 2024 security patch with build number UTT3.240625.001.K5. The first update for Google TV Streamer is rolling out now as a 35.35 MB update carrying the version number UTT3.240625.001.K9.
