First Alert Weather: Worst of the cold is behind us on Thursday
After a blast of arctic air dropped the mercury down to piercingly cold temperatures and wind chills near -20 degrees, we're finally getting a "break" in the cold weather on Thursday.

First Alert Weather: Daily frosts and freezes into the weekend
The First Alert Weather Team says it’s another cold night ahead, with temperatures dipping into the 20s inland and dropping to the low 30s at the beaches.
First Alert Weather: Rain returns this weekend
Most of the weekend should be dry, with highs in the 40s, and lows in the 20s. Rain risk will increase late Sunday, continuing overnight and into Monday morning. We should have some breaks in the rain on Monday afternoon.
First Alert Weather: Light snow today, still cold at times this week
The extreme cold is firmly in the past. Today remains our best chance for snow for the rest of the week. A couple slick spots cannot be ruled out depending on how much snow your community picks up, but we have had much worse road conditions this Winter.
