Douglas Kiker, the "American Idol" contestant known as the "Singing Garbage Man," has died, his sisters announced this week.

Douglas Kiker reportedly looked unwell before an ambulance picked him up in early March. It seems a pedestrian called 911 and said he appeared to be overdosing.
