Lawyers on both sides of Sean Combs' sex-crimes trial delivered opening statements, and witnesses alleged the one-time mogul was violent in multiple instances.

Sean "Diddy" Combs, the music mogul accused of sexually assaulting, trafficking and otherwise exploiting women in recurring incidents over multiple decades, is standing trial on federal charges in New York City. Jury selection began May 5, and opening statements are expected on Monday, May 12.
