The Texas Rangers have entered the trade deadline chat with an around-the-margins caliber move. The Rangers traded right-handed pitcher Codi Heuer to the Detroit Tigers in exchange for cash considerations Thursday afternoon.

Heuer becomes the fourth relief pitcher to be acquired by the Tigers before the MLB trade deadline. In addition to acquiring Sewald and Heuer, the Tigers also acquired Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Rafael Montero and Washington Nationals reliever Kyle Finnegan.
