The Cavaliers have a lot to think about now as they look for better results next season. The loss is still fresh on their minds, including that of Cavaliers star guard Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell spoke to the media on Wednesday and admitted that he had not been to sleep yet, but he had watched the game back twice.

The East's top seed has been eliminated. With their 114-105 win in Game 5 on Tuesday night, the Indiana Pacers knocked out the No. 1 seed Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round of the 2025 NBA playoffs and clinched a spot in the Eastern Conference finals for the second consecutive season.

The Indiana Pacers rallied yet again to beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, winning Game 5, 114-105, and advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals for the second straight year. Point guard Tyrese Haliburton led Indiana with 31 points,
