The Pittsburgh Steelers allowed Justin Fields to serve as Russell Wilson's sous chef before allowing the veteran to cook. What resulted was another template Mike Tomlin season of late as Pittsburgh played just well enough to make the playoffs but nowhere close to good enough to seriously compete in the AFC.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are more likely to re-sign Justin Fields than not, according to insider Gerry Dulac. During his weekly chat, Dulac gave optimism that the team would not only bring back Fields, but do it for a contract that will not break the bank.

Steelers coach Mike Tomlin does not know who his starting quarterback will be in 2025. Tomlin said today that there are "a lot of unanswered questions" about the future in Pittsburgh, and that the quarterback position is one of them.

Lots of the Steelers’ offseason decisions will be easy and obvious. Justin Fields will be the starting quarterback in 2025. Fields can be had for $15 million per season or less, maybe on a two-year deal.
