HP is announcing an updated lineup of notebooks at CES that includes new EliteBooks, a new Ryzen AI-powered ZBook workstation, and a fresh 16-inch Omen Max gaming laptop that can spin its fan in reverse to help clear out dust from its vents.

Anyone who's owned or tested out a gaming laptop in recent years (or, frankly, ever) will have had a similar experience at some point – you mostly use your machine plugged in, but occasionally you remember that it's technically portable and try to have a gaming session relying on battery power.

The Zen 5 Ryzen 9 9900X3D and 9950X3D should offer better graphics performance. AMD also shared more about its next generation of Radeon GPUs.

Acer has unveiled its new range of Predator Helios and Nitro V gaming laptops at CES featuring the latest chips from Intel and NVIDIA.

Today at CES 2025, Acer announced their newest Nitro V AI lineup of gaming laptops infused with artificial intelligence. Not only are they designed to consume less power (and extend battery life), but they also feature AI-powered graphics thanks to Nvidia’s DLSS 3.
