Donald Trump has only been back in office for a week and Jon Stewart is already pretty tired. On a new episode of The Daily Show he professed that the onslaught of current events has been a little bit too much.

Jon Stewart addressed the past week in politics on Monday night’s (January 27) episode of The Daily Show, where he advised Democrats that if they want to regain office, they need to chill a little on the fascist talk and actually offer an alternative.

Jon Stewart is urging President Trump’s critics not to reflexively call every move he makes “fascist,” saying it clouds the ability to warn about actual authoritarian actions.
