Teamsters employed by Republic Services have been on strike for a month. There does not appear to be an end in sight.

Residents and businesses in more than a dozen communities across eastern Massachusetts are continuing to creatively manage trash disposal amid the monthlong Republic Services waste collection strike.

Meanwhile, in a separate lawsuit, cities and towns suing Republic lost their bid to force the company to pick up their trash.
