The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has advice for dealing with certain types of invasive species -- eat them. Here's what Nutria, iguana and Northern Snakehead tastes like.

“Wild boar is some of the best-tasting invasive meat you can get. Leaner and richer in flavor than store-bought pork, wild boar works in everything from smoked barbecue to hearty chili. Grind it for burgers, braise it for tacos, or go full gourmet with wild boar ragu over pasta.”

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has a suggestion to help curb the growing population of an invasive species that bears a resemblance to a very large rat: Eat them.

An invasive species is an introduced non-native organism that begins to spread or expand its range from an original introduction and can possibly harm the environment, economy or human health.

US wildlife officials have urged citizens to consider adding nutria to their diets in an attempt to control the population of the "invasive" species. Nutria are a large semi-aquatic rodent native to South America.
