The FTC sued the Maryland-based Key Investment Group LLC and its affiliates for allegedly using fraud to purchase tickets for high-profile performances, including Taylor Swift's Eras' tour last year.

Maryland-based Key Investment Group created thousands of fake Ticketmaster accounts to purchase nearly 380,000 event tickets in just over a year, the Federal Trade Commission alleges.
