Tadej Pogacar (UAE-Team Emirates) powered to an uphill victory on the final stage of the UAE Tour, taking the overall title after a dominant display.

Tim Merlier completed back-to-back victories by taking the penultimate stage 6 victory in the UAE Tour at the Abu Dhabi Breakwater on Tuesday. The Soudal-QuickStep rider came around the two sprint trains to go clear of Jasper Philipsen and double stage winner Jonathan Milan to secure his seventh UAE Tour stage win.

Tour de France champion Tadej Pogacar opened his 2025 account with victory in the third stage of the UAE Tour on Wednesday. The 2021 and 2022 UAE Tour winner was followed across the line by Briton Oscar Onley and Austria's Felix Gall at the end of the 181km ride from Ras Al-Khaimah to Jebel Jais.

Paris: British rider Josh Tarling won a 12.2km time trial on stage two of the UAE Tour on Tuesday to snatch the overall lead in the seven-day race, while man to beat Tadej Pogacar came third on the day 18 seconds adrift.

Belgian sprinter Tim Merlier won the fifth stage of the UAE Tour in a close finish on Friday as Tadej Pogacar retained the overall lead. The breakaway was at one stage more than two minutes ahead, forcing the teams of the leading sprinters to chase.
