Dallas was issued a flood warning Wednesday morning and parts of Fort Worth, Arlington and Irving were under a flash flood warning as heavy rainfall and strong to severe storms are expected in North Texas.

A weak front will bring scattered showers and storms to the region, more specifically Central Texas, on Thursday, May 1, into Friday, May 2, according to the NWS. If these storms become severe, the main threat will be large hail and damaging winds.
