Cal Raleigh’s 39th home run in the bottom of the sixth inning last night was the decisive blow as the Mariners snapped the Brewer’s 11-game win streak by the score of 1-0. Raleigh’s bomb was one of only four hits for Seattle on the night, but it was enough thanks in large part to Logan Gilbert’s 6.1 innings of two-hit, 10K shutout ball.
"Had it's share of drama for sure, but just a great job all-around. (Starting pitcher Logan Gilbert) tonight was at his best. That was a pretty impressive performance from him."Gilbert's outing Tuesday was arguably his best of the season.
The Brewers seek to stretch their winning streak to 11 games as they open a three-game interleague series against the Mariners at T-Mobile Park.
