Sergio Perez is figuring out how to reboot his Formula 1 career at the age of 34 after Red Bull axed him following a dismal 2024 season, replacing him with Liam Lawson

Despite signing a multi-year contract extension during the summer, Red Bull dropped Perez at the end of the 2024 season. The six-time Grand Prix winner failed to record a top-nine finish in his final eight races as the Milton Keynes squad dropped to third in the Constructors’ Championship standings.

A disastrous season for Sergio "Checo" Perez inevitably resulted in him losing his spot with Red Bull for the 2025 Formula 1 season.
