AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT and 9070 GPUs went on sale this morning, with plenty of stock available on Newegg and even Amazon. But the more affordable $599 and $549 models sold out fast, leaving only the pricier units available.

Alongside its beefier brother, AMD is also launching its RX 9070 GPU on March 6th 2025 with a compelling price tag of $549/£524 against Nvidia's RTX 5070 and offers quite the compelling choice against Nvidia's arguably quite disappointing release. Combined with the new powers of FSR4 and more besides, it's an intriguing battle.

AMD has finally done it. For years it's tried to undercut NVIDIA with slightly cheaper, but less capable, video cards like the Radeon 6700 XT and 7900 XT. And sure, it's still following that same strategy with the new Radeon 9070 and 9070 XT.
