The Netflix streaming service has admitted to using artifical intelligence for the first time in order to scale up the look of a foreign sci-fi series.

Netflix stock has nearly doubled over the last 12 months to levels of about $1,270 currently. The rally has been driven by a crackdown on password sharing and the expansion of its advertising-supported tier.

One of the bigger cinematic disappointments of 2025, this sequel to the killer doll hit M3GAN ditches the horror genre almost completely. Instead, M3GAN 2.0 takes the plot of Terminator 2: Judgment Day and mixes it with espionage action, superhero schtick, and random jokes to make a Frankenstein's monster of movie that's anything but exquisite.
