Chelsea are said to be closing in on signing Jorrel Hato from Ajax Amsterdam, with reports yesterday from both Fabrizio Romano and The Athletic’s David Ornstein agreeing that not only are the Blues making good progress in the negotiations, but that a deal is imminent.

An agreement with Ajax has yet to be reached but is nearing, with a compromise expected on a price worth more than €40million.
