The lone blemish for Lawrence and the offense came on a fumble deep in Saints territory. On a running play, it looked like Lawrence was stepped on by the left guard, which resulted in a botched handoff as he stumbled to the ground. The self-inflicted miscues continue to be an area where this Jaguars team as a whole has to improve.

The Jacksonville Jaguars head to the Superdome for a preseason kickoff against the Saints, and while the game doesn’t mean anything for the standings, it’s everything for the roster’s pecking order. With starters set to play and plenty of young talent battling for roles, today will be a pivotal proving ground.
