Ava Moore, 18, was killed Sunday after a woman driving a jet ski ran into her as she was kayaking on Grapevine Lake, officials said.

Family and friends of Ava Moore said their final goodbyes in Fort Worth. The 18-year-old was hit and killed by a jet ski on Grapevine Lake during Memorial Day weekend.

The original move came a day after Brevard County implemented a burn ban, joining bans previously put in place by Seminole, Orange, Volusia and Lake counties. Those burn bans remain in effect.
