The New York Jets held a practice on Sunday without media or assistant coaches present the day after suffering a 31-12 loss to the New York Giants in their second preseason game. The only people in attendance for the practice were players and first-year coach Aaron Glenn.
Led by rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart, the New York Giants lit up the skies and the Jets in a 31-12 victory to close out Week 2 of the preseason.

The following day, the Jets not only practiced to work on a few areas, but it was coordinated and run entirely by the players themselves and linebacker Jamien Sherwood called the defensive plays.
Carter was flattened by a chip block from Jets tight end Stone Smartt in the second quarter, and as he got back up to his knees, right tackle Chukwuma Okorafor put Carter right back on his behind. The Giants rookie fired off a spicy tweet in response to the official NFL account’s tweet featuring a video of the moment.
