Get ready for WINTER! Temps plummet today behind our morning cold front as winds really increase out of the N/NW. Wind chills will be in the 20s by this evening.

A cold front will send temperatures tumbling below freezing next week. FOX 4 meteorologist Dylan Federico takes a look at the temperatures and the chance we could see snow or a wintry mix.

Dallas Fire-Rescue said a total of 579 animals, mostly birds, died. At least a dozen others were rescued and treated in the parking lot.
