The judge raised the bond to $1 million along with stipulations that Gille would need to have a GPS tether and that he cannot have contact with any of the named victims or their families.

An analysis of court records and archives found Bradford James Gille had a history of legal and mental health struggles before the July 26 attack.

Bradford James Gille is the Traverse City, Michigan stabbing suspect. Sheriff Mike Shea said that the first 911 callers said that Gille, 42, of Afton, MI, was "actively stabbing people." He released Gille's name in a news conference on Juloy 27.
