The Dallas Wings pulled off a surprise win Monday night, taking down the defending WNBA champions, the New York Liberty, 92–82. Leading the way was Arike Ogunbowale, who delivered a career-defining performance that rewrote the franchise record books.

Ogunbowale went off in the first half of Monday’s matchup by putting up a 15-point, 10-assist double-double in the opening half. The four-time All-Star was able to make WNBA history with her strong performance in the first two quarters of play.

Paige Bueckers and Chris Koclanes shared positive remarks about Ogunbowale, who has come under criticism this season for her performance.
