The Alabama Crimson Tide suffered one of the more notable losses to the NCAA transfer portal so far this offseason Sunday night, as true freshman inside linebacker Justin Okoronkwo announced his intentions to do so.

Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers will have reinforcements arrive in Baton Rouge this offseason as the program continues making moves in the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Alabama football linebacker Sterling Dixon will enter the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. Dixon is a former four-star prospect from Spanish Fort. Dixon saw time in three games: Western Kentucky, Missouri and Mercer. Dixon was used on special teams and on defense. Dixon had one tackle in 2024.

Alabama won a recruiting battle against K-State and Nebraska for Ross when he signed with the Crimson Tide. But he held a total of 25 scholarship offers. The Wildcats clearly made an impression on him during the recruiting process, because he quickly chose them when he began exploring his options as a transfer.

Amari Jefferson is a crucial addition for the Vols, who lost five receivers to the portal in December. Jefferson should compete for a starting spot.

Alabama football will lose another name on defense to the transfer portal. Linebacker Jeremiah Alexander will enter the transfer portal, according to multiple reports. Matt Zenitz and Chris Hummer of 247Sports were the first to report the news. Alexander had five tackles for the Crimson Tide throughout the 2024 season.

Kansas State continues to build the football roster through the transfer portal. On Tuesday, linebacker Jayshawn Ross announced he was transferring from Alabam
