Stephen Curry scored a game-high 31 points and the Golden State Warriors overcame a major rebounding deficit to beat the Houston Rockets in Game 1 of their first-round Western Conference playoff series.

Steph Curry led the Warriors to a 95-85 win over the No. 2 seed Houston Rockets on Sunday, finishing with 31 points on 12-of-19 shooting, including 5-of-9 from deep. He also had six rebounds and three assists in a game that saw the No. 7 seed Dubs lead by as many as 23 points.

Speaking to reporters after the Warriors' 103-86 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, Curry said he will be "all right" after aggravating his thumb injury early in the game.
