Lindsey Vonn is just getting started on her comeback to ski racing at age 40 with her new titanium knee. She already has an endpoint in mind though.

Lindsey Vonn said she is “good” and has only a few bruises after falling toward the end of a World Cup downhill training run on Thursday. The protective air bag that most downhill skiers wear inflated under Vonn’s racing suit to help soften her fall.

Vonn will race at Cortina this weekend, the site of some of her greatest successes. Can she recapture the magic?
