Constellation Energy, the largest nuclear operator in the U.S., rose by 3% by Friday afternoon, while shares of uranium mining firms Uranium Energy (23%), Energy Fuels (17%), Cameco Corp. (9.5%) and Centrus Energy (22%) also spiked in value.

Shares of nuclear power companies closed higher on Friday after U.S. President Donald Trump signed executive orders seeking to jumpstart the industry.

Reuters has reported that President Trump is planning to sign an executive order to speed up the permitting and construction of nuclear energy power plants in the U.S. as early as today. The market didn't ask questions and simply bid up nuclear stocks today.
