Microsoft has announced the Xbox Game Pass January 2025 Wave 2 lineup of titles. The announcement on Xbox Wire comes ahead of Microsoft’s Xbox Developer Direct on January 23, where fans will get to see a number of day one Game Pass games, including Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and a mystery fourth reveal.

It's always a good day when new games are announced for Xbox Game Pass, and although Microsoft hasn't said anything about it (at the time of writing, at least), it's been confirmed that a new skiing game is joining January's lineup!

The upcoming Xbox Game Pass release schedule is packed with new titles, including triple-A releases like Sniper Elite Resistance, which will be available as a day-one game from January 30. Taking place within Occupied France, the third-person stealth game can be played solo or co-operatively.
